“Hey Ho Rock’n’Roll”, the hit song by Chocolate Spoon in the 90s was a fixture on Radio Zet,
RMF FM and most local radio stations; it also appeared as a jingle in an OXY commercial.
Chocolate Spoon supported Sir Bob Geldof during his Polish tour, was the star of the cult Jarocin rock festival, played a joint tour with Lady Pank. CANAL+ invited the band to play
a summer tour. Chocolate Spoon also has very many club gigs to its name.
“Jestem Wolny” [“I’m Free”], written by the band’s leader, Wojtek Kubiak, became another hit for the band. The song was included as
a highlight in the soundtrack to “Magda M,
a very popular series on TVN Television. Their song “Dziki Sen” [“Wild Dream”] was also used by television for the soundtrack to POLSAT Television’s award-winning “Dziki” [“The Wild One”] TV series.
After releasing three full-length albums Chocolate Spoon decided to take a break.
Today, the band is making its live comeback and is getting ready to release its fourth album.
